Sharyn McCrumb came up with a great title. I've got two different works...the titles are too hard to grab onto in one case, too long in the other. Yours sound perfect!

I adore Sharyn McCrumb! She writes poetically and deeply about American locations with the kind of reverence for its history and people that most people reserve for travelogues of foreign lands.

I actually have a title for my WIP reserved as a domain, and the way I'm writing it now, I'm not sure I can keep it. I've gone through a few of them, and I'm still not settled. I agree they're very important for differentiation, especially for debut authors whose names alone won't capture readers.

I can't tell any of the legal thrillers or their writers apart anymore because they're all Reasonable Doubt, Burden of Proof, Double Jeopardy, etc...

Titles can be so difficult to choose, even for something simple like a blog post. Of course, I'll probably never have to face choosing a title for a novel.... sigh.
