My good friend Deb Lacy is flying in from California today and we'll be spending the next two days in Manhattan at the Backspace Agent-Author Seminar. Click here
Since I won't be around for a couple of days, I wanted to share some great fun I had over the weekend.
First I hopped on the Internet superhighway and visited the Art Institute of Vancouver so I could take a Right Brain vs Left Brain test. Click here
As a left handed person who believes I’m creative, what with the writing and painting and all, I would have been devastated to come up left-brained. How backward would that be! I'm thrilled to announce I am right-brained in keeping with my left handedness. (Apparently not all lefties are.) Click here
Then I wandered over to Michael Bracken’s blog only to find out that Michael writes like a girl, which in his case is sometimes not so surprising. Click here
So, of course, I had to follow Michael over to the Gender Genie Click here and submit a sample of some of my blog writings and lo and behold, I blog like a guy. But at least I can say I blog like a right-brained guy.
Before I sign off I just want to thank everyone for the kind wishes you've expressed to all the authors in the Murder New York Style anthology. As Lois wrote, the launch was a huge success. Rest assured, we did indeed lift a glass to all our blog buddies around the globe. We felt you there in spirit.

dfTerrie - sheesh, the more I learn about you, the more I realize it's not just our names that are the same! I too, am left-handed and right-brained. Coo, eh?
Oops, missed a letter in my rush. Although coo is cool, too.
df Bag Lady,
We're so cool, we coo!

Terrie-
I came up Left/Right 50%/51%, if that makes any arithmetic sense. The breakdown descriptions of the reasoning types and their weighting seemed pretty close though. I've done the gender genie and always come up a rootin' tootin' dude. I'd save a lot on lip gloss and handbags if it were true.
Have a great time with your pal!
Mostly right-brained here. If I want to play with paint or draw something I do it left-handed even as I'm a dexter. I'm not gifted in that way so at least it kicks up the creativity.
So glad the launch was a success.
I have a T-shirt that says "Only left-handed people are in their right minds" Just thought I'd share that with you...
Great links!
I don't know how much stock to put in these tests and such, but they're awfully fun to take.
I have to admit I skipped the left/right this time since I'm always so reliably left-brained. (I also write like a guy, at least last time I checked).
Have a great time a Backspace and let us know how it goes!
Hi, Terrie. Missed you on the other site so had to stop by. How was the conference? Had to take that R/L test and am also somewhat right brained, but may have messed up some answers because the way they say I give directions is totally backwards. None the less, these little tests are a nice diversion.
Hi Terrie,
Thanks for visiting my blog. In today's post is a little message for you.
