What Book Are You?

I like to spend time visiting Leah, a writer in Alberta, Canada, who hangs out at The Goat's Lunch Pail. Click here

This Sunday, Leah linked to the Blue Pyramid Book Quiz. Click here

Leah turned out to be To Kill A Mockingbird (Who knew? Crabby? Dawn? Anyone?) and posted the book cover and the blurb describing her "Mockingbird" personality on Goat's Lunch Pail. Click here

I love these little Internet questionnaires and there's always a bit of truth in the answers! So I ran right over and took the test. I'm not talented enough to show you the book cover picture, but I cut and pasted the verbiage.

"You're Catch-22! by Joseph Heller"

"Incredibly witty and funny, you have a taste for irony in all that you see. It seems that life has put you in perpetually untenable situations, and your sense of humor is all that gets you through them. These experiences have also made you an ardent pacifist, though you present your message with tongue sewn into cheek. You could coin a phrase that replaces the word "paradox" for millions of people."

I'd stick around and amuse you with more of my wit and ironic humor, but I have to go coin a phrase . . .

Thanks for the link love.
I like your "Catch-22" result. A sense of humor will get you through just about anything.

Leah,

Thanks for the inspiration for this post.

I certainly agree with about a sense of humor.

Deeply rooted in a religious background, you have since become both isolated and schizophrenic. You were naively sure that your actions would help people, but of course they were resistant to your message and ultimately disaster ensued. Since you can see so many sides of the same issue, you are both wise beyond your years and tied to worthless perspectives. If you were a type of waffle, it would be Belgian.

Oh, the things I could say about that...

Very cool quiz--would love to know what into the questions because the answers seemed quite perceptive! Yet it was such a quick little thing to take. Thanks, Terrie and Leah!

I too was Catch-22.

Marijke,

That first sentence sounds like it could come from one of those medical journal links on your blog. Then you turn into a wise Belgian. You are a very interesting lady.

And you may have more to tell us . . .?

Crabby,

Yep. I just loved the site. There are a lot of other tests but being a writer, Leah led the way to the book test and being a writer, I followed along.

Travis,

Except for the thirty or so years difference in our ages we could be twins separated at birth. ;)

Story of my life (sigh).....

I'm Inherit the Wind
by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee
"To you, the learning process is inherently about controversy. If people aren't having their minds stretched, how could they possibly be learning? This makes you a good but unpopular teacher, and the people around you are ready to make it a federal case. All you're asking them to do is evolve a little. But they would like you to be more creative. You would make an excellent lawyer, even though people think you love monkeys."

Lois,

Better people think you love monkeys than they think you are a monkey. ;)

I'm Watership Down. Amazing. I still speak hraka and silflay, although I don't necessarily spell them correctly any more!

I don't know how you find the time to find these wonderfully creative places for my mind to go, but I thank you sincerely for the trips!

Write On!
